For Clients

Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Training

Our Orientation and Mobility (O&M) training equips persons with visual impairment with the skills, strategies, and confidence to travel safely and independently. Through practical and individualized instruction, participants learn orientation skills, white cane techniques, route planning, public transport use, environmental awareness, and problem-solving strategies to navigate a variety of environments with greater confidence and independence.

Prospective clients will first meet with a social worker for an assessment to identify their needs and goals before training recommendations are made.
